Some good habits to have…

Remember good posture – it is important to remind yourself to keep a good posture throughout your day until this becomes a habit.

Take breaks – do not stay in your same position throughout your day. Take time to stand up, move around, move your neck and shoulders, and breath deeply a few times. This applies to work at a desk, or activities such as painting, knitting, reading or various DIY jobs around your home.

Avoid – lifting heavy objects, quick movements of the head, high impact aerobics, head stands or any strenuous sporting activity if you have neck problems.
