Cheryl Ross, Physiotherapist, practices in private practice in Mulbarton, Johannesburg South as well as seeing patients undergoing knee surgery at Linksfield Hospital.
She completed her BSc (Physio) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2000. She has been practicing for 15 years in which time has also done numerous post-graduate courses, in particular OMT (Orthopaedic manipulative therapy) and Dry Needling. In 2015 she completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University, in which she graduated Cum Laude.
She serves as the secretary of the Dry Needling Special Interest Group of the SOUTH AFRICAN SOCIETY of PHYSIOTHERAPY and assists the teaching and examining of dry needling.
Odette van der Merwe, Physiotherapist, joined the practice in September 2014. She obtained a BSc. Human physiology at the University of Pretoria in 1999. She then went on to complete a BSc, Physiotherapy (Hons) at the University Of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, in 2002. She worked in the UK for 10 years during which time she completed her Masters Degree in Health and social care management at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, United Kingdom in 2012. Odette has post graduate qualifications in Spinal Manipulation and manipulative therapy and Acupuncture for Physiotherapists.
The practice is registered with the HPCSA and the Board of Health Care Funders.
